Teacher Education and Professional Development (TEPD) On Education (AED) is seeking teacher education and professional development (TEPD) program in all positions, recruiting college.

TEPD the Ministry of Education program by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) support and implementation of accident and emergency department. The TEPD goal is to build public elementary and secondary teachers training colleges (TTCs) capacity is an effective teacher training institutions in Kenya.TEPD will also coordinate, expedite the 21st Century Education (ACE) program, which is a public / private partnership initiatives in information and communication technology into teacher training.

1) Teacher Education Specialist (TES)

Duties

  • Management TEPD activities, bus level, and in close cooperation with TEPD team to ensure that training activities in the designated TTCs is implementing a range of measures and work plans TEPD.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of teacher training programs.
  • TEPD and TTCs as a key link between senior leadership at the university and TEPD good communication.

Qualifications

  • 2) Monitoring and evaluation (M & E's) expert
    Duties

    • Management of the different components of the program to monitor all activities, through data collection; including development tools, compiled data in the database, reporting, dissemination and development strategies.
    • Lead the development, baseline, and performance monitoring plan (PMP) implementation.
    • Prepared quarterly and / or annual data, the U.S. Agency for International Development based on data collected by the PMP report progress, achievements or potential setbacks Conference of the Parties.
    • Closely to the TTCs joint Ministry of Education and school visits, and through M & E between the information sharing system and the Ministry of Education of TEPD Education Management Information System.

    Qualifications

  • Master of the lowest priority to the development of doctoral education strategies or assessment, or equivalent, and in educational planning, monitoring and evaluation experience, statistics, or related field. Experience in teacher training would be an additional benefit.

  • 3) Information and Communication Technology Experts

    Duties

    • ACE to provide technical leadership and information communication technology activities, training and evaluation of the implementation, in order to enhance the effective use of education through technical quality.
    • Oversight of information and communication technology coordination, short-term consultants and subcontractors.
    • Support provided by the Ministry of Education, ACE partner, 23 primary and secondary schools, three teachers in the integration of information and communication technology design and training institute in education and teaching.
    • Responsible for procurement, delivery and installation of information and communication technology equipment.
    • ACE activity in the state of the coordination of communication, to share views on the success, failures and challenges in ACE project.
    • The current position is based in Nairobi, travel up to 35% of the schools and colleges in Kenya.

    Qualifications

  • Master's or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred.
  • Practical knowledge, skills, usually through the advanced level of education, social sciences, business, computer science or related field and 10 years minimum relevant work experience acquired ability.
  • Experience has shown that training teachers in Kenya, information and communication technology in education to the classroom, primary and secondary levels and monitoring the installation and maintenance of computer equipment.
  • The experience of the United States Agency for International Development or other donor-funded project work desirable.

    • Position will be located in Mombasa and Garissa office or up to 50% of the travel time, to support schools and colleges in Kenya

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • Practical knowledge, skills, usually through education, social sciences, business, computer science or related field and 5 years relevant working experience empowerment.
  • Experience has shown that training teachers in Kenya, information and communication technology in education to the classroom, primary and secondary levels and monitoring the installation and maintenance of computer equipment.

    Duties

    • Supervision of the procurement process in TEPD to focus on the ACE program.
    • Management coordination, identify and research potential suppliers to obtain quotes, evaluate the cost and quality of materials and preparation of comparative reports to carry out the provisions of that contract.
    • Ready for all payment and financial reporting documents, assign and track expenditures and ensure that policies and procedures at all stages of the procurement process to follow.
    • With partners, the Ministry of Education and the technical team, design and implementation of the distribution plan to ensure that the materials used in schools to reach an effective and timely manner.

    Qualifications

    1) Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor

    Position Summary: M & E consultant is responsible for managing the program's M & E activities, research and development donors, the implementation of effective evidence of those packages, and government policy makers. This position will report to the Commission Project Officer.

    Duties:

    • The M & E consultant team works closely with technology and data, carry-over inventory program monitoring, research and community-based organizations in capacity-building technical assistance.
    • Coordination of program design and research, to determine the reform program in the community, key decision factors.
    • Lead the data management team, among the indicators of the current and emerging programmatic "success" factors; analysis and reporting results.
    • Production against the donors, implementers of the evidence package and government policy-makers.
    • Provide technical leadership, management, monitoring and evaluation plan, routine project monitoring data collection, data quality assessment and monitoring program to strengthen the implementation of decision-making data.

    Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in monitoring and evaluation, health, statistics, quantitative analysis, or other related field preferred.
  • At least 8 years experience in monitoring and evaluation activities, including the impact and the most advanced countries, qualitative and quantitative research skills.
  • Knowledge of community projects; with MS Access and SQL or other relational database capabilities; with national and international M & E framework and reporting requirements and standards are familiar.

    Position Summary:

    • The M & E consultants will lead all of the M & E capacity-building needs, including the provision of relevant findings, best practices and disseminate lessons learned, in all stakeholders and outreach programs.

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Development of a comprehensive M's franchisee in the area of planning and supervision of accident and emergency monitoring system to track and the card holder's activities and report on the results.
    • Development capabilities and technical expertise of gastroparesis approved monitoring and evaluation activities, and use effective decision-making, capacity development and performance improvement results.

  • 2) Associate Degree
    Position Summary:

    • The Associate program is to provide support to ensure the provision of technical services to the General Post Office approval for the excellent quality, punctual delivery, and to convey the right.
    • Specifically, will support the program, logistics, financial and administrative in nature and will be guided by the Technical Advisory Group.
