Project activities in 2009

In the first 6-month period the main achievements in the mutual understanding and adjustment between the partner organizations of the project team building.Team-building process is through long-term and sustained discussion of the acquisition, in difficult political and security situation change.

In the first 6 months of main results achieved during the mediation through improved methods of test preparation seminars and training staff first choice of a new training methods, and the continuous improvement of the overall planning of the project.

The main criteria for selection of trainers is they project and the wider overall objective of the program consistent with the commitment they are willing to see it through their understanding, this is not a simple "job opportunities", but an invitation for a comprehensive partnership and ownership of projects and broader program. Instructors are carefully selected in order to learn more about this project commitments.

July 16 and 28, between the regular training program held its first trainer, counselor, who played as a mediator and mediation training workshops on their own as a central part of the pre-selection of two groups. The trainees have been chosen to take the workshop or in some way a part of the pre-existing relationship between the person to the project.

Prior to the workshop participants met for three days of formal training, they get the project methodology and theory to guide the long-lost part of the launch. As the meeting participants had formal training in a 6 day library meter workshop. This allows them to own the process first-hand knowledge and see how. Held a special meeting in the evening, in which the participants / students to discuss and appeal reflected in everyday conversation.Finally, participated as facilitator in the last days, because they provide convenient methods of planning meetings with the team.

To November 2 and 15 national workshops, 22 are for the coach to conduct a second training course / host. 22 communities took over the two weekend workshops, running from Thursday to Saturday night, 11 5-7 12 to 14 November. Training workshops over the leadership of the day and between days of the workshop meeting. Training of personnel and promoting teamwork in the planning and methods of workshops / presenters.

To promote joint planning and workshops to enable trainees to obtain a long-lost way of practical experience, and further integration into the project itself, and prepared as a long-lost methods of training and their future role mediators further study.

Between the two communities held a workshop and actively Union, the battle between peace and the Palestinians YIFC and aspirations, who had engaged in various joint projects. Seminar held in conjunction with a working group with the group coordinator.
